Coming in on the low end of Panasonic's superzooms, the LZ20 could be a decent budget option for those who crave a 21x optical zoom in an SLR form factor. The competition in the segment from the likes of Nikon and Fujifilm is fierce, and frankly little stands out (perhaps price?) about the LZ20 in particular. The LZ20 relies on a 16.1 megapixel CCD sensor, which is able to output 720p HD video and a paltry 1.2fps burst mode. Because there's no built-in viewfinder, all your composing must be done via the 3-inch LCD.
